Augusta & Adeline

When opportunity knocks, you jump in the back of that rusty ol’ pickup and get the shot.

When was approached by the Social Media Manager of Portland-based women’s riding gear startup Augusta and Adeline, I didn’t think too much of it. Eager to shoot a scrappy, interesting brand (I’ve had a few motorcycles of my own), I agreed to generate short-form content and social media assets for a new line of chaps, and a coupe riders making their way on four (total) wheels from North Portland to Sauvie Island.

The only catch; I’d have to shoot out of the back of a ‘95 Datsun pickup truck.

I love a good challenge :)

After a few video shoots of the product on safe, unmoving land - I hopped into the back of that rusty chariot, got ratchet strapped in for safety, and away we went!

And the result was nothing short of DOPE. Two badass women ripping motos over the St. John’s Bridge in Slo-Mo?? Yes…. Yes, please.

In total this shoot yielded about 60 high quality assets of the clothing (riding chaps, hats, jackets, and T Shirts) as well as a few high quality, edited Reels.
